We talk about two key areas of the brain: the intellectual brain and the emotional (or primitive) brain.

The emotional brain deals with old patterns, habits, and reactive responses like anxiety, anger, or low mood. It’s designed to keep us safe — but it often overreacts in modern life.
In SFH, the goal is to help you shift from emotional thinking to intellectual thinking — from stress and reactivity to calm, clear-headed progress.

The Stress Bucket
Imagine that every time you feel overwhelmed or think a negative thought — whether it’s a big worry or a passing doubt — a drop of stress goes into a mental bucket. We call this your stress bucket.
When your bucket is full, it only takes something small to tip it over. That’s when you might feel stuck, snappy, drained, or anxious.
The brain has a natural way of emptying this bucket: REM sleep. But if stress builds too quickly, or sleep is disrupted, the bucket stays full — and the emotional brain takes over.
Resetting the Balance
SFH works by calming your stress response and rebalancing your thinking. You don’t need to revisit painful memories. Instead, we focus on what’s working, what’s possible, and how you want life to be.

The Role of Trance
Trance is simply a relaxed, focused state — similar to being absorbed in a book, a run, or a daydream. In this state, your subconscious becomes more receptive to positive ideas and change.
In sessions, we use this natural state to reinforce what you want — not what you’re trying to avoid — helping new patterns take root more deeply.
What to Expect
It all starts with an Initial Consultation — a relaxed, informative session where we’ll talk through how the brain works, why you might be feeling stuck or reactive, and what we can do about it. You’ll receive a relaxation audio to start using straight away.
